Starr Telecom was founded in 1999 by Leonel J. Lopez after his retirement for GENERAL TELEPHONE AND ELECTRONICS (GTE). His forte was telephone installation and cabling. Soon after he was challenged to do Data Cabling and followed by taking some Data cabling courses and joined BICSI as a member. STE is now certified by various cabling companies as well as security, fire, access control, cctv, telephone installation, nurse call, infant security, paging system and other services.
